Julia, Tobias, and their daughter Marielle have the kind of calm household where nothing is supposed to go wrong. Then Marielle suddenly gains a talent that is not cute in the slightest. She can hear and see what her parents do. At any time. From anywhere. One day it’s normal family life, the next day she’s basically living with a 24/7 feed of their private moments.
The first scenes play like awkward comedy. You know the type. The moment you realize your secrets have been replaced with instant replay. But the laughs don’t last, because every “normal” conversation starts revealing problems that were never meant to be public.
It’s a sharp, slightly brutal question in film form: if your kid knows every detail about you, does love survive, or just get… fact-checked?

Julia, Tobias und ihre Tochter Marielle leben erst mal ganz ordentlich im Familienglück. Keine großen Dramen, eher so dieses „bei uns läuft alles“-Gefühl. Bis Marielle plötzlich nicht nur zuhört, sondern offenbar alles weiß. Wirklich alles. Welche Gespräche geführt werden. Welche Blicke nicht fallen sollten. Und das Ganze nicht gelegentlich, sondern überall, jederzeit, als hätte jemand die Privatsphäre auf „Durchladen“ gestellt.
Was erst wie ein schräger Running Gag startet, kippt schnell in die eigentliche Horror-Komik: Heimliche Konflikte werden nicht „angesprochen“, sie werden ausgespuckt. Und dann bleibt die unangenehme Frage stehen: Würde Marielle ihre Eltern noch genauso lieben, wenn sie ihre kompletten Geheimnisse schon vor dem Kaffee kennt?
